Implementation of a New Backup Infrastructure for Bazy i Systemy Bankowe Sp. z o.o.

Bazy i Systemy Bankowe Sp. z o.o. had relied on backup infrastructure for years that could no longer meet operational and security requirements. A critical moment arose with a new order from a key client – it was necessary to ensure backups were stored reliably, in compliance with regulations, and protected against failures, including client environments. The company decided to modernize with clear priorities: uninterrupted backup execution, redundancy in two independent locations, and a platform built on modern, scalable hardware.

In December 2024, INFOMEX delivered a complete backup infrastructure, and in March 2025, carried out full installation and implementation work. The new environment was launched simultaneously in two centers, enhancing incident resistance and enabling operational continuity even in the event of a failure at one location.

The architecture was built using enterprise-class components:

  • 9 Huawei CloudEngine switches,

  • 2 HPE DL380 Gen11 servers,

  • 2 HPE StoreOnce 3660 deduplicators,

  • 2 HPE MSL2024 tape drives,

  • 3 HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11 servers,

  • 1 HPE DL320 Gen11 server.

As a result, the organization has a coherent, redundant data protection platform that serves both its own needs and the requirements of a key client, simplifying daily operations and significantly increasing recovery assurance.
